2026 Policy Updates

Photography & Videography Policy, Terms & Conditions

This agreement ensures clarity, fairness, and respect for both parties involved. By booking with me, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking & Deposit

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your shoot date. No deposit, no booking—it’s that simple.

• If you need to reschedule, the deposit can be applied to a new date, but only if you notify me at least 72 hours before the scheduled shoot.

• Failure to reschedule within the 72-hour window will result in forfeiting your deposit, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

2. Delivery Timeline

• Your content will be completed within two weeks of the shoot date, though it may be delivered sooner.

• If you need expedited delivery, a $500 rush fee will be added to your final invoice.

3. Payment Terms

• The remaining 50% of the payment is due on the day of the shoot or no later than three days after you receive your content.

• For last-minute bookings (within 72 hours of the desired shoot date), a 25% rush fee will be added to the total cost.

4. Late Payments

• If the final payment isn’t made on time, a 10% late fee will be added every two days the payment is overdue. I respect your time and trust you to respect mine as well.

5. Credit for My Work

• Tagging Requirement: Any content posted on social media or other platforms featuring my work must tag me (@JosueMejicanos & @SwayMediaLLC) in the caption or credits.

• Failure to tag me appropriately will result in a $150 penalty per post. I put my heart into my work, and proper credit is a non-negotiable part of our agreement.

6. Additional Fees & Terms

• Travel fees may apply for shoots outside of a 50-mile radius of Salt Lake City, UT. Rates will be determined based on location and travel requirements.

• For larger projects or commercial shoots, a customized contract may be provided to outline additional details specific to your project.

• I retain the right to use photos and videos from your shoot for portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

7. Binding Agreement

• By hiring me and submitting a deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. These policies are non-negotiable and constitute a legally binding contract between us.

8. Respecting My Craft

• My time, skills, and energy are valuable, and this policy ensures a fair experience for both of us. Rush fees and penalties exist because my schedule is carefully managed, and I expect professionalism on both ends.

• Communication is key! Let’s keep it professional and efficient so we can focus on creating amazing content together.
